The advisory board of the Orient-Institut Beirut advises the institute on scientific questions, especially concerning the working programme, and advises the board of trustees of the DGIA on matters concerning the institute. The advisory board gives suggestions to fill the position of the institute’s directorate and gives advice on the employment of the academic personnel.
